Applesauce Pancakes!

I made these pancakes this morning and they were SO good! I found the recipe on They had a light cinnamon/sugar taste, but still very pancake-y.

2 cups dry pancake mix
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 eggs
1 cup applesauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 cup milk (I did add a little extra milk in the end, just so it was a tad runnier)

In a large bowl, stir together pancake mix and cinnamon. Make a well in the center of the pancake mix. Add the eggs, applesauce, lemon juice and milk; stir until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Playing with actions in Photoshop

I've recently acquired Photoshop and I have been playing around with some actions. If you've never been over to see Pioneer Woman, than you must stop by and read. She has many sections on her site and I love all of them. Cooking, home and garden, photography or just plain old daily life. On her site, in the photos section, you will find 2 different collections of actions. I downloaded those and have been playing with them. Here's one picture of Lee that I was just playing with. Each picture has had a different "action" applied to it.

It's fun ot play around with the different settings!
